The Boyhood Initiative of America

Mental illness affects all aspects of a person’s life. From strained relationships to difficulty socializing with others, those living with emotional problems possess countless hurdles and often fail to become productive members of their communities and society at large. For children and adolescents, these barriers seem far worse and often impede the natural development of healthy behaviors. The Boyhood Initiative of Missouri was established to address these needs for child and adolescent males affected by mental illness.

Mission
Our mission is to work with communities affected by community violence to ensure mental health for all.

Vision
Our vision is to ensure that children can flourish in environments that actively promote well-being and healthy development.
